Summary of Position:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of construction project teams.
- The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, at the project location.
- The applicant must hold a valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Salary for a position is determined by the candidate's experience.
- Bonuses and profit-sharing with conditions are part of the position.
- The Superintendent will report directly to the vice president of construction.
- The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of construction projects from pre-construction, and job start-up to job close-out.
- The Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, managing, and leading all teams and personnel on site and resolving all issues to meet production goals.
- The Superintendent's job is to make sure that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, in compliance with all building codes and contract specifications, as well as in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Across all projects, Inco Building System Construction Superintendents deliver successful projects on time and under budget.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or extensive experience in construction, design, finance, and management required.
- Related technical Certifications, Coursework, Continuing Education
Experience:
- Five-year practical experience commercial construction job management, preferably Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) projects.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Client relations are defined as project updates, meetings with the building owner during the construction phase and maintenance of positive relationships and communication after the project is completed.
- Leadership: Proven track record of strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to schedule, motivate, and lead diverse teams of construction professionals simultaneously.
- Experience: Proven track record in turnkey commercial building construction and processes, preferably Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) construction.
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with each Inco team member, company management, all vendors, subcontractors, and Project Owners.
- Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate, current project documentation including daily reports, status updates, change orders, and quality assurance audits.
- Budgeting and Oversight: Ability to monitor and control expenditures by identifying variances from the budget, and resolving them.
- Problem-Solving : The ability to analyze a situation and take proactive action.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet contract deadlines.
- Scheduling: The ability to schedule all required personnel and teams so that successful projects can be delivered on time and under budget.
- Management of Project Timelines: Review project timelines, identify problems, and take corrective action.
