We seek an experienced and motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at Inco Building System. The Sales Associate is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their project needs, presenting viable solutions, and negotiating contracts.
- The position is full-time, Monday through Saturday.
- The applicant must hold a valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Salary for a position is determined by the candidate's experience.
- Bonuses with conditions are part of the position.
- The Sales Associate will report directly to the VP of sales.
- Sales associates contact all leads they receive and develop each lead opportunity.
- Sales associates sell smart building packages to business owners to generate new business.
- The Sales Associate is responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their project needs, presenting viable solutions, negotiating contracts, and maintaining ongoing relationships. The goal is to drive sales and achieve sales targets within a particular geographic area.
- As Inco Building System Sales Associates, you must be committed to assisting customers throughout the entire buying process, ensuring they have everything they need to make an informed buying decision while winning successful projects that boost profit and customer satisfaction.
Sales Mission:
- Inco Building System's sales associates are always polite, patient, and professional. They never use high pressure, are rude, or are abrupt with customers.
Education:
- Associate degree in Business or Marketing or MBA, or a degree in Construction Management, Sales or related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or extensive experience in construction, design, finance, and management required.
Experience:
- Five-year practical experience construction sales experience, preferably Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) projects.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Strong in customer service.
- Sales Contract: Understanding of construction contracts and pricing admin.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Relevant Experience: Preferred sales experience within the building industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Clear understanding of construction practices, materials, and project process is required.
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with each Inco team member, company management, all vendors, subcontractors, and Project Owners.
- Collaboration: The ability to work together effectively with each Inco team member, company management, all vendors, subcontractors, and Project Owners.
- Problem-Solving : The ability to analyze a situation and take proactive action.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet contract deadlines.
- Site Analysis: Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, potential challenges, and access issues or limitations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and record all potential risks related to the project including weather, labor, materials, permit issuance, special requirements, and conditions at project site location.
